[Aso/Kusasenri] Visit the earth (mother) of Aso and grass (XNUMX) Senri

Hello!

Although it is the rainy season, it is often the case that the sunny days are over 30 degrees Celsius, and I have the impression that summer will not begin in earnest.

This time it is a standard spot in the Aso areaKusousenriAlthough it is simple, I would like to introduce you.

The Aso Volcano Museum has shortened its business hours as follows due to the prolonged impact of the new coronavirus infection.

Period: June 2 (Mon)-July 6 (Wed), Reiwa 1
Opening hours: 10: 00 to 16: 00

[Here is the highlight! ]

・Because it is the rainy season, you can see the scenery!

・A new Kusachiri specialty! !

・Tour started by local guide!

This is in front of the main entrance of the Aso Volcano Museum. In front of this museum is a parking lot for ordinary cars and large buses. A regular car (normal car) costs 1 yen per car. It is said that a part of the parking fee here is also used for the grassland restoration of Aso, and it is noticed that it contributes to the grassland restoration in a familiar place.

This is the Aso Sanjo Visitor Center. Here you can learn about the history, nature, and culture of the Aso Sanjo area. Let's go outside.

This is the horse riding area as shown in the photo. I also remember riding around a horse slowly when I was little.

You can see Mt. Eboshi in the front. The collapsed part of the slope was destroyed in the past heavy rain and the Kumamoto earthquake.

Head to the area where you can see the rainwater in front.

I was finally able to come close. Although visible, there was an unexpected distance.

Finally arrived. It is rare that rainwater has accumulated so far, and it is a landscape that can be seen only during the rainy season.

Of course, there are no fish, but the transparency was very high due to rainwater.

Here is a panoramic view of Mt. Karabata seen from a small hill. It looks close, but it seemed that there was a surprising distance when I walked.

Here is an introduction to the new specialty of Kusachiri in the Aso Volcano Museum!

The menu of Cafe & Shop Grassland on the first floor of the hotel has been renewed. "Kikuya" has a lineup of menus such as Aka beef bowl, which is a new specialty of Kusasenri.

We also recommend Aka Gyudon and curry using Aka Gyu. Please enjoy once when you visit the Aso Volcano Museum.

How was that.

This time, we introduced Kussenri during the rainy season, but you can see various scenery depending on the season.

We are looking for a "Kusenri Gahama Walking" tour by a local guide. You can listen to stories that you can only hear here!

*The event may not be possible due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

[Highlights of the tour! ]

-At the end of May, the yamayama kirishima is in full bloom and you can enjoy the seasonal scenery from spring to autumn.

・ You can take a walk in the meadow slowly.

・ The guide will guide you through the variety of plants that live in the Aso environment.

・ It is a course that even beginners can easily participate.

Check the details of the tour below!
